RVQ Smokehouse was born in the heart of Vermont’s Deerfield Valley. For us, the name RVQ (River Valley Q) is more than just a food trailer—it’s a commitment to our community and the rugged, natural beauty of the Green Mountains. What started as a shared passion for authentic BBQ has grown into a local fixture dedicated to the "low and slow" tradition.

Led by the culinary vision of Chef Brandon Ruble and business partner Dan Edson, we’ve spent years perfecting a smoke profile that honors traditional techniques while serving the unique flavors of our valley. We don't believe in shortcuts—only the steady glow of embers and the perfect bark that can only be earned with time.
